Dr. Yariv Goldstein – Orthopedic Shoulder Specialist

Dr. Goldstein is an orthopedic shoulder specialist, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Technion. After graduation, he started his 6 year residency at “Ichilov” Tel Aviv Medical Center, and completed the certification exams with national honors. After his residency, he moved to France where he completed a fellowship in shoulder surgery, working shoulder to shoulder with the best shoulder surgeons in the worl, improving his surgical skills and participating in cutting edge research.The main part of his sub-residency was done under the supervision of Professor Pascal Boileau, a pioneer and world leader in the field of shoulder surgery, and from whom he learned advanced surgical methods and an approach to complex shoulder issues.

When he returned to Israel in 2013, Dr. Goldstein worked as a consultant at the shoulder unit at Ichilov hospital. Today, Dr. Goldstein is head of the shoulder unit at the Assuta University Hospital, an affiliate of the Ben Gurion Negev university, where he operates and holds a teaching position. Dr Goldstein holds a teaching position at the university and leads cutting edge research in the field of shoulder surgery.

Dr Goldstein specializes in comples shoulder surgery, arthroscopic surgery, shoulder replacement surgery (reversed total shoulder, anatomic total shoulder, stemless shoulder replacements) and revision surgery.
